Now I know you cant calculate rentability the same way for all software, as FlashFXP and especially Outpost Firewall are expected to be sold in the millions (I know FLASHFXP will not be sold in a million copies nevertheless it represents a bigger scale cathegory.) To name two, FlashFXP which is an apparent market leader when it comes to Windows FTP clients, which costs 30USD, and we have Agnitum Outpost Firewall a lifetime licence of which I bought for 45 USD. Secondly we have software with years and years of development that are a lot cheaper and have a lot more work and money invested in, than Ntlite. Win7 and upwards are light years more reliable and faster than XP was, so its not like the good old XP times anymore, when you had to optimize the shit out of your system to actually see it work properly. HDD space is also no issue, never been in the past 10 years and if you want to install from an USB stick (does anyone use DVDs for Windows installs since Win7 anymore?) you can no longer buy one below 8gigs and that dirt cheap too, so you don't even need to worry about size vs portability/storage anymore. A laptop with a 2Ghz dual core CPU and 8gigs of RAM is very much affordable for about 80% of users (mind you that he who cant afford to buy such a laptop can't afford to pay 45 bucks for ntlite either). With today's computers memory and processing power is not an issue. I don't know how many licenses nuhi has sold sofar, but I find 45USD is a bit of an overkill, let's see a few points below why. Now, I'm not gonna pretend that I didn't start this thread with the intension to make nuhi reconsider the price of the home edition, but at least I'm not simply gonna ask without arguing
